United as a new brand: LVG Plants and Plantimex are now one

We would like to update our staff members, corporate clients, associated nurseries, and suppliers with news of our union with Plantimex. As a company with similar values and a focus on indoor plants, Plantimex is a welcomed addition to the LVG Plants family. The decision to combine both entities under one brand was a natural progression for our two companies. And we’re confident that our union will strengthen and enhance our overall service offering, streamlining the full customer journey.

LVG Plants in context

For over 34 years, LVG Plants has been a leading wholesaler in indoor plants, supplying horticultural buyers and nurseries throughout Southern Africa with quality products. The van Geest family started the LVG Plants in Oaktree, Krugersdorp, out of a love for plants and flowers, with their meticulous attention to detail earning the company a stellar reputation in the industry. The innovative growing techniques of LVG Plants are made possible through automated, on-site greenhouses. All irrigation, fertigation, heating, and cooling is centrally controlled in these facilities, ensuring optimum growth conditions for a wide range of seasonal indoor plants, including hydrangeas, roses, orchids, succulents, and poinsettias.

Plantimex was formerly a wholesale distributor of LVG Plants, providing reliable, world-class service to buyers around Southern Africa. As of 1 January 2021, Plantimex will unite with LVG Plants to form a bigger and better brand. To our loyal customers, we want to assure you that you will receive the same excellent service that you have come to expect with Plantimex. But now you will receive it from our united wholesale brand: LVG Plants.
